  • You can access, export or delete the data we hold at any time.
This summary helps you read the full text; it does not replace it.

01Who we are

Tamers Online is an independent web3 project run by a team of contributors, not a company. The project team decides how the personal data described in this Policy is used for the Tamers Online website, game and app (the “Services”). We designed the Services to need as little personal data as possible. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@tamersonline.com.

02What we collect

CategoryExamples
Profile (app)The wallet address you sign in with, the username you choose and your settings. An email address only if you give us one for news or support.
Cards and purchases (app)NFTs your wallet holds, transaction IDs, products bought and amounts, all read from the public ledger. We never receive your private keys.
Gameplay (app)Decks, matches, results, rankings, in-game actions and reports of misconduct.
Technical dataIP address and request details processed by our hosting provider to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, plus crash logs in the app.
CommunicationsMessages you send to our support addresses.

We do not ask for your real name, address or identity documents, and we do not collect sensitive data.

03How we use it

PurposeLegal basis
Run your profile, matches and collectionPerformance of our contract with you
Process purchases and deliver NFTsPerformance of our contract with you
Keep the game fair and secure, prevent fraud and cheatingOur legitimate interests; legal obligations
Improve and balance the gameOur legitimate interests, using aggregated data where possible
Send news, if you give us an emailYour consent, which you can withdraw at any time
Answer requests and handle disputesContract; legitimate interests; legal obligations

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Anti-cheat systems may flag accounts, but a person reviews any ban.

04Public blockchain data

Good to know. When you buy, receive or transfer a card NFT, the transaction and your wallet address are recorded on the public Hedera ledger. Anyone can see them, and neither we nor anyone else can change or delete them. Avoid linking your wallet to information that identifies you if you want to stay private.

If you ask us to delete your data, we will delete what we hold on our systems, such as the link between your profile and your wallet, but we cannot erase records on the blockchain.

05Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools. The app only uses essential storage in your browser to keep you signed in and remember your settings. If we ever add analytics, we will choose a privacy-friendly tool and update this Policy first.

06Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who process it for us: our hosting and network provider (Cloudflare) and our email provider;
  • Blockchain and wallet services needed to deliver and verify your NFTs;
  • Other players, who can see your username, public profile, decks and match results;
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of players and the Services;
  • A new team or organisation, if the project is handed over, under the same protections.

07International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area or the UK. When they do, we rely on safeguards approved by the law, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

08How long we keep it

We keep profile and gameplay data while you use the Services and for 12 months after you delete your profile, support messages for 24 months, and IP addresses in security logs for up to 30 days. Then we delete or anonymise it.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to privacy@tamersonline.com and we will answer within one month. Signing a message with your wallet is enough to prove the data is yours.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

10Children

The Services are not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews. No system is completely secure, so keep your wallet keys private. We will notify you and the authorities of any data breach as the law requires.

12Changes and contact

We will post any changes to this Policy here and announce significant ones in advance. Questions: privacy@tamersonline.com.
